Welcome to Carousel Farm
Our 99 acre farm is located in the rolling hills of the
South Carolina Piedmont just outside the historic 1700's
village of Ridge Spring. The neighboring counties of Aiken,
Edgefield and Saluda are known today as "Thoroughbred Country."
Our farm is just a short 20 minute trailer ride to one of the
country's most important equestrian centers known as Aiken.
Aiken is home to all disciplines of horse enthusiasts.
It offers polo, fox hunting, driving, year round training of
race horses and sport horses. Aiken is also home to the largest
urban forest in the country. Hitchcock Woods is located in the
heart of Aiken on 2000 acres with over 65 miles of sandy trails
which can only be used by pedestrians on foot and horses.
Our farm's 16 stall block barn is situated on "the ridge" where
we enjoy lush coastal Bermuda fields and a cooling southern breeze.
We have our own 55 acre hay field and 12 large pastures fenced in
by non-climb wire with top board. We have a round pen and ring with
colorful jumps. There is ample room to roam the wide open rolling
hay fields or enjoy the sandy trails beneath the tall Southern Pines
and peach orchards.
Carousel Farm offers riding lessons, showing, trailering available
and pasture or stall boarding. Whether you are looking for year round
boarding, temporary boarding or looking for a place to retire your
older equine friend, our farm offers all the amenities a horse enthusiast
could only dream about.
