Carousel Farm offers retirement, training and show boarding on a permanent
or temporary basis. The block barn offers 16 matted stalls 12x12 in size, large
wash stall with hot/cold water and heat lamps, laundry, heated/air-conditioned tack room
and 2 bathrooms. There are 12 large Bermuda pastures ranging in size from 1 to 3 acres fenced in
no-climb wire with top board. We have plenty of fields with sheds for those who would like to pasture
board. We have a round pen, ring with colorful jumps or plenty of trails surrounding the property. Trailering
is available for those who would like to ride at Hitchcock Woods or attend local equestrian events.

If you are looking for a place to retire your elderly equine friend, we specialize in the care of older horses.
We feed quality Purina feeds, our own home grown Bermuda hay, alfalfa cubes and bran mash. Supplements and medicines are
fed without a problem as long as owner supplies them. All horses are placed on our deworming schedule. Water buckets, feed buckets
and pasture water tubs are cleaned daily. Stalls are bedded with plenty of shavings. They are cleaned daily and picked throughout the day
when stall kept. As long as weather conditions are good, horses get to roam and graze the large fields all day. Summer turnout is overnight
and horses are in the stalls with fans during the day. During the winter months, horses are turned out during the day with plenty of hay
in the fields. Additional options such as blanketing and boots for turnout are available.

Retired horses are groomed throughout the week to insure their physical condition is maintained. We maintain their manes, tails and trimming. Any horses in need of body clipping, this service is available at an additional charge. We schedule all services for your horse. We handle your horse for the veterinarian and blacksmith visits. Our veterinary clinic is located just 5 miles from our farm.
